MY PERSONAL JOURNEY TO FITNESS & QUALIFICATIONS
Hi! I’m Nicola, a personal trainer, nutrition and mindset coach, I am passionate about health and fitness and work with my clients to achieve realistic goals.
My clients get fantastic results, feel fitter and stronger, and improve their relationship with food.
I coach clients to nourish and strengthen their bodies rather than restrict and demonise food. I believe that mindset is key to getting results and working on helping my clients change how they think and feel about themselves.
MY JOURNEY TO FITNESS

In 2013, I gave birth to my second daughter, which left me feeling overweight and uncomfortable. I was at my biggest and most unfit yet and had also been diagnosed with post-natal depression. I felt helpless about how to solve my problems. My clothes didn’t fit, I was exhausted from caring for two children, and each day felt like a struggle. I lacked energy, and my health was suffering.
I knew I had to take action to improve my situation. It was important for me to be healthy, not only for my own well-being but also for my children to see an active mum.
Initially, I focused on spending a tremendous amount of time doing cardio exercises and eating processed foods labelled as healthy. While this helped to some extent, I wasn’t getting the results I wanted. I was constantly hungry and obsessing over my weight on the scales.
Things began to change when I started working with an inspirational and experienced personal trainer. I had several lightbulb moments!
He encouraged me to evaluate my daily diet, read labels more carefully, and eat more natural, minimally processed foods. Once I shifted my focus to nutrition, my body started to benefit. He then introduced me to resistance training using barbells, dumbbells, and resistance bands. His guidance and support were instrumental in my transformation.
As a result, I became fitter and stronger than I had been in my 20s! This led to an enormous boost in my energy levels and confidence. I had gone from someone who hated PE at school and avoided exercise to someone who could confidently use the weights room at the gym and even participate in obstacle course races. Things I once deemed impossible became a reality, and I felt a renewed sense of vitality.
Now in my late-40s, I’m even more grateful for everything I’ve learned as I embrace this next phase of life.

My success inspired me! I felt a calling to help others achieve their fitness and health goals. I knew that, with the right help and support, anyone could achieve the body and health they desire.
So, I took a brave step and retrained to become a personal trainer — and I haven’t looked back since.
I have helped hundreds of women change their mindset around eating and exercise habits, enabling them to become fitter, healthier, and leaner versions of themselves. I bring my enthusiasm, personal experience, and expert qualifications to every client, helping them gain energy and a zest for life. With the proper support and advice, anything is possible!
